2. Wired Surveillance Cameras – These cameras are designed to be setup permanently. For areas where one feels constant monitoring is necessary and the camera will not need moved to a new location, a good option is a wired camera. There are versions of this camera that need to be installed professionally.
3. Dummy Outdoor Surveillance Cameras – If one does not have the money or do not want to spend the money on outdoor surveillance, he may want to consider installing dummy outdoor cameras. These are best for buildings that are at little or no risk of a break-in.
These fake cameras are designed to make potential thieves think the building has an outdoor surveillance system. Dummy cameras are manufactured to look like real surveillance cameras, but are unable to tape or record any activities. It is important to realize that these cameras do not guarantee the security of one's property and provide no evidentiary help in case of a break-in.
Installation of Outdoor Surveillance Cameras
When an outdoor security camera is installed, care must be taken to consider possible lighting changes and landscaping changes that may occur. It is important that cameras be placed in a location that is high enough that they can not be easily reached, but low enough to catch any activity and take a clear recording.
It is also to necessary to consider how one will get power to carrier current, wireless, and wireless IP cameras. This will require the ability to tie into the current electrical system or the installation of a new electrical outlet.

The Legal Times’ Tony Mauro contrasts Canada and the
U.S. when it comes to the issue of cameras in each nation's highest
court:
U.S. Supreme Court justices still talk about television cameras
as if they were deeply mysterious, brain-draining devices not
to be approached with anything shorter than a 40-foot pole. But in
Canada's Supreme Court, where proceedings have been broadcast for
more than 20 years, cameras are just part of the scenery, barely
worth a mention….“We decided to do this on a trial basis about 21 years ago,”
[Canadian Chief Justice Beverly] McLachlin said. “We were very
wary. But what we have is this: We have some stationary cameras. We
are just oblivious to them. I don’t think I ever think about them
in the course of a hearing … They’re unobtrusive.”McLachlin said the hearings in full are broadcast “not at prime
time” on CPAC, Canada's version of C-SPAN, but are also excerpted
for nightly news shows — the snippets that U.S. justices fear
like the plague. In those brief reports, McLachlin said the media
have been “very very very responsible” in giving balanced reports,
perhaps in part because they know the court could end the
experiment at any time.

Hello!
I had my 3-year-old Kodak Easyshare digital camera stolen last month from my house and I'm looking into buying a new one for my upcoming vacation this month to Colorado. I generally take pics of animals, nature, and my family. I would love it to work well in low light too. I want a camera I could use for years as I would've still been using my Kodak if it weren't stolen!
I would also like to purchase from my local Best Buy and I have found two cameras that I really like.
This Samsung:
Samsung – 12.0-Megapixel Digital Camera – Black – HZ30W Black HZ30W&cp=1&lp=1
I like the zoom on it and the scene modes
Or another Kodak Easyshare (my last one was only 7.1 mp but had a 10 or 12 zoom-this one has WAY more zoom and mp and more optical zoom than the Samsung):
Kodak – EasyShare 14.0-Megapixel Digital Camera – Black – Z981 Black EasyShare Z981 &cp=1&lp=1
Which is the better brand overall-Kodak or Samsung? The Kodak is $100 dollars more but has more optical zoom (which I've heard is what to look for nowadays b/c EVERY camera now has pretty good mexapixels). The Samsung goes off sale on Saturday at midnight according to a bestbuy.com representative so I have to act fast.
Or is there ANOTHER camera that's great but won't go over $300?
Another question is I still have my old Kodak battery charger from the other camera but will it work for a newer Kodak camera or a Samsung or are the batteries shaped different between brands?
Thanks in advance!Hello!

The homie iSH just hit me with these 2 joints exclusively for P&P! Last night during a session for his upcoming album he decided to take a break a flip a couple joints that he is really digging right now. On the 1st joint he jumps on Matt & Kim’s “Cameras” and on the 2nd he hops on Michael Rossback’s “In Dreams“. Check ‘em both below!!!!

Apple unveiled the new iPod touch today at their special event, along with several other music- and media-related devices. Of course, we’ve been hearing murmurs and leaks about it for some time now, and the new device pretty much tallies with our expectations.
The two big improvements are the Retina screen and the dual cameras. Steve called it the “iPhone without a contract.” How candid!
